About Mark Ratcliffe Fine Furniture

Specialising in bespoke tables, free-standing cabinets and sculptural pieces.

Mark designs and makes highly individual pieces, inspired by his client's vision, needs and aesthetic preferences.

Born and raised in the north-west of England, Mark studied Economics and has had a successful career in marketing before moving into fine furniture design and making. He has a life-long interest in the arts, design and architecture.  He also has an insatiable curiosity for design history and a passion for innovation.

Having trained as a furniture designer/maker under the guidance of experts at Williams and Cleal, Mark draws on the wealth of design heritage, bringing a fresh approach and boundless enthusiasm to his all his projects.

Mark's work is underpinned by his committment to quality and the realisation of legacy pieces that will speak to future generations.

His workshop is located about ten miles from Chester.
